Admissions Assistant (Part Time)
CNS Environmental is currently seeking an Admissions Assistant for our growing Training School based out of our Plainview, NY facility. We currently provide Asbestos, Lead, Mold, OSHA and other environmental training courses, enrolling more than 500 students a year.
Responsibilities:

Meet and Greet students and distribute course materials upon arrival

Student intake and reviewing intake forms for accuracy

Photocopying/Scanning

Maintenance/Updating of Student Database

Training course preparation
-
Inventory of training program materials
-
Restocking classroom with forms and breakroom supplies as needed

Reviewing existing training program materials for errors, marks, etc.

Assist in training-related marketing (email campaigns, social media, print marketing)

Perform general administrative duties as assigned

Respond to prospective student inquiries by phone, email, and in-person

Support prospective students with the registration and application process

Maintain multiple databases and communication plans for prospective students

Constant communication & reporting with instructors and administrators
Minimum Requirements to Apply:
-
Must have experience in Student Admissions (adult education preferred but not required)

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of office experience (any industry)

Friendly, energetic and personable!

Superior organizational skills

Ability to take direction and to follow through

Must have Proficiency in the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat

Knowledge/Experience in the following is a plus: Hootsuite, Facebook/Instagram Marketing and LMS software/platforms
General Work Hours:

Part-Time (20 hours +/- each week)

7:45am – 11:45am Monday through Friday

Ability to stay late (if needed)

Ability to work Saturdays (if needed)
