The USEPA Lead Inspector Initial is a 24-hour (3-day) training course that will teach the Students how to conduct lead-based paint inspections and surveys through the discussion of work practices, testing operations, the use of XRF analyzers, sampling, reporting and much more. Hands-on workshops included with the course consist of lead-based paint inspection methods; paint chip, dust wipe and soil sampling; clearance testing; and how to prepare a lead-paint inspection report.
Following completion of this course, you will receive a Course Completion Certificate which will allow you to work for a 6-month period as a Lead Inspector while you are completing the USEPA Application Process to receive your full 3-year license.
