The USEPA Lead Supervisor Initial is a 32-hour (4-day) training course that will teach the Students how to perform and supervise a lead-abatement project, control lead-based paint hazards, manage a project and prepare community relation and occupant protection plans. Topics also include health and safety, regulations, worker and community rights and insurance considerations. Hands-on workshops included with the course consist of interpreting lead inspection and risk assessment reports; identifying and controlling lead hazards; performing different methods of abatement; and cleanup procedures.
Following completion of this course, you will receive a Course Completion Certificate which will allow you to work for a 6-month period as a Lead Supervisor while you are completing the USEPA Application Process to receive your full 3-year license.
