CNS Environmental was the prime environmental consultant, who acted as the client’s environmental liaison, interacting with the City of NY Office of Environmental Remediation and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, from razing the Fulton Mall structure to overseeing the excavation and soil disposal of 100,000 tons of soil to accommodate the new foundations for City Point Brooklyn, which, when complete, will total 1.8 million square feet of retail, office and commercial space.

CNS Environmental responded to a steam explosion which shut down a portion of the plant.  CNS oversaw and managed lead-based paint remediation throughout the affected area of the plant.
