Class Description

The NYS Asbestos Project Designer Initial is a 24-hour (3-day) training course where Students will learn how to plan and design any NYS asbestos project through discussion of work practices, air sampling procedures, contract and job specifications, legal liabilities and safety procedures. Hands-on Workshops included with this course consist of a contracts and specifications workshop, a design/cost estimation workshop and a field trip/walk-through exercise.
