NYS Mold Abatement Worker Initial

Class Description

The NYS Mold Abatement Worker Initial course is a 16-hour (2-day) course where Students will learn how to complete a mold remediation activities while protecting themselves and building occupants. Course topics will be taught using interactive methods including demonstrations, discussions, problem-solving, role-playing activities and the use of question and answer techniques between the Instructor and the Students. Hands-on Workshops included with this course consist of PPE/Respiratory Protection, Work Area Setup and Decon Procedures, and Remediation/Cleanup Procedures.
