Class Description

The NYS Mold Remediation Contractor (Supervisor) Initial course is a 24-hour (3-day) course where Students will learn the information required to perform the functions of and supervise Mold Abatement Workers, Write and Approve Mold Remediation Work Plans and Own/Operate a Mold Remediation Company. Course topics will be taught using interactive methods including demonstrations, discussions, problem-solving, role-playing activities and the use of question and answer techniques between the Instructor and the Students. Hands-on Workshops included in this course consist of PPE/Respiratory Protection, Work Area Setup and Decon Procedures, Remediation/Cleanup and how to write Mold Management & Remediation Plans. *This course also meets the requirements for the Nassau County Environmental Hazard Remediation Provider & Technician Licenses.
