Class Description

This 2-hour OSHA Hazard Communication course is intended to provide information about the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200) and NYS "Right to Know" laws including the use of hazardous chemicals in the workplace, requirements for GHS-compliant container labels and safety data sheets (SDS’s), written Hazard Communication program requirements and and where to find information regarding exposure, personal protective equipment, first aid, proper handling and storage. This course also provides a general overview/introduction to indoor air contaminants including mold, asbestos, lead and IAQ issues.
