Staff Environmental Consultant
CNS Environmental is currently looking for an Experienced Staff Environmental Consultant with well-rounded knowledge to join our team! Ideal candidates will be able to hit-the-ground running with 4+ years of experience in both office and field environments and hold a B.S. or higher in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science. All candidates must be extremely detail-oriented with excellent communication skills and be passionate about the work they do.

Vapor Intrusion

Soil and Groundwater Sampling

General and Construction Health and Safety

Emergency Response

Asbestos, Lead Paint, Mold and Indoor Air Quality experience a plus

Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager in Service Areas outline above

Be directly responsible for all aspects of your delegated service areas including but not limited to

Field Work

Project Preparation

Research

Data Compilation

Technical Report Writing

Ensuring accurate and timely execution and completion of assigned projects within budget

Direct, schedule, coordinate and track activities of field staff and subcontractors

Providing regulatory compliance and technical guidance

Interfacing with clients

Follow and abide by company policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:
-
B.S Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science
-
4+ Years’ experience in the Environmental Consulting field executing the responsibilities outlined above (mandatory)
-
Desire to obtain Professional Designation as PE, PG, RA, CHMM and/or CSP
-
Solid technical writing skills and attention to detail
-
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
-
Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations
-
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and staying within budget
-
Ability to work well with others and build a team
-
Comfortable in both Field and Office environments

Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
Physical Requirements:
