Asbestos Project Monitor Initial

Class Description
The NYS Asbestos Project Monitor Initial is a 5-day (40-hour) training course that covers the roles and responsibilities of the Project Monitor including air sampling procedures, lab analysis methods, contract/job specifications, legal liabilities and more. Students will participate in Hands-on Workshops including respiratory protection/PPE, air sampling strategies, visual inspections and contracts/specifications/drawings. Upon completion of the course, Students will be able to oversee the scope, phasing, timing and abatement methods of any NYS asbestos abatement project.
