Class Description

This 4-Hour LIVE/ONLINE Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness course will provide participants with the knowledge required to identify bloodborne pathogens and to protect against exposure. Main topics covered in this course include transmission, prevention/control of exposure, incident response, and emergency procedures. This course meets the minimum training requirements set forth in 29 CFR 1910.1030 established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) *This course also meets the requirements for the Nassau County Environmental Hazard Remediation Provider & Technician Licenses.
