What's The Difference Between Lead Abatement and Lead RRP Certification / Training?
Lead Abatement:
This specialized training satisfies EPA requirements and equips individuals and firms with the knowledge and skills for the permanent removal of lead-based paint hazards. Abatement courses include Lead Abatement Supervisor and Lead Abatement Worker.
Lead RRP (Renovation, Repair and Painting):
This EPA required training focuses on lead-safe work practices for renovation, repair, and painting projects that might disturb lead-based paint unintentionally in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities. (This training is also required for Home Improvement Contractor Licenses in most jurisdictions).
