EPA Lead Abatement Worker Initial (SPANISH)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

El USEPA Lead Abatement Worker Initial es un curso de capacitaci�n de 16 horas (2 d�as) que ense�a a los estudiantes c�mo configurar y realizar proyectos de reducci�n de plomo mientras aprenden las regulaciones aplicables y el equipo de protecci�n personal adecuado necesario. Los estudiantes participar�n en una variedad de ejercicios en clase, as� como talleres pr�cticos que incluyen sitio de trabajo y configuraci�n de descontaminaci�n, m�todos de reducci�n (eliminaci�n, reemplazo y recinto) y procedimientos de limpieza final.

Despu�s de completar con �xito este curso, usted recibir� un certificado de finalizaci�n del curso que le permitir� trabajar durante un per�odo de 6 meses como trabajador de reducci�n de plomo mientras est� completando el proceso de solicitud de USEPA para recibir su licencia completa de 3 a�os.

The USEPA Lead Abatement Worker Initial is a 2-day (16-hour) training course that teaches Students how to setup and perform lead-abatement projects while learning the applicable regulations and appropriate personal protective equipment needed. Students will participate in a variety of in-class Exercises, as well as Hands-on Workshops including Job Site & Decon Setup, Abatement Methods (Removal, Replacement and Enclosure) and Final Cleanup Procedures.

Following the successful completion of this course, you will receive an Interim Course Completion Certificate which will allow you to work for a 6-month period as a Lead Abatement Worker while you are completing the USEPA Application Process to receive your full 3-year license.

*This course also meets the requirements for the Nassau County Environmental Hazard Remediation Provider & Technician Licenses.
