Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Course

This 4-Hour Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Course is accredited through the American Heart Association (AHA) and is intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs to obtain a completion card for their job, as part of regulatory requirements or for other reasons. In this course, Students will learn basic First Aid, how to prevent injury and illness and critical skills needed to respond to and manage medical, injury, environmental and Opioid-associated emergencies including the life-saving skill of Adult CPR and AED use, until emergency medical services arrives. Instructional methods include both lecture and hands-on training where Students will learn how to control bleeding, tend to basic burns, when to activate EMS by using mannequins with real-time feedback devices. Upon successful completion, Students will receive a course completion card which is valid for two (2) years.
